Me poor oad Rants and Ravings blog has now had its day *weep*. Blogger was great to use for a blog back when I first started using one, but now its pretty outdated, well, when you compare it to WordPress and the likes.

So, I have decided to move me blog.  Im currently using Wordpress on another site, and I just loved the way it leaves room for development and is so customisable (should that be spelt with a z?). Not only that, but there are loads of plugins you can add to your blog, so I thought it was about time for a change.

The URL is a bit naff for the blog really, I bought the URL ages ago with a plan to so an SEO site, I decided against it, but still had the URL, so… I have convinced myself that the web bit means, well, posts about the web, and the SEO bit stands for….(crappy reason alert) web related posts…. doh.. (trying to make the most of a bad excuse).

Anyway, I thought I would import all the posts from the rantsnravings blog, but for some reason, Wordpress only imported up to June 2005, which is a bit naff, but then again, the posts in the blog wern’t all that intersting anyway, so I’m not really too bothered. At least with now having categories things will be easier to navigate and I might even clean things up a bit and promote the site a bit…just for the sake of it I guess.

Right then, tis enough fa now, I still need to work on a header and even decide if my eyes can put up with this lime green theme, I like it, but just not sure how much at the mo…
